This year I was super excited to get a REAL Christmas tree. The last 3 years I've used an artificial 3 and a half foot tree that has sat on an end table in our apartment. Since we are in our house now we went for the first time together and picked our tree. It smells SO good and we think it's perfect. We went and picked it out on December 1st (I've enjoyed it every minute) and got it decorated the following day. Here is a before and after picture. I told my dad that he needs to give me lessons on how to make the lights look just right since he is the experienced one but for the first time I don't think it turned out too bad at all. Gorgeous tree! I was all excited to put a tree up in our own house. It got up but has yet to be decorated. Ah well, there's always next year :)
